I'm home at last!

Been wanting to blog blog blog about every single thing but since time waits for no man, I'll have to enjoy my life back in Singapore first. Nothing much has change over the last one year, every single one is still the same! Who the heck change drastically over a year? But time has changed, it is now my responsibility to take good care of myself, pay my own bills, settle my own meals and manage my daily life for since I'm considered as an "adult"! OMG OLD FREAK!

So much things for me to even digest, even before I'm able to take action on my own.

Decisions are hard to make.. I've been thinking a lot lately and I hope by taking things slow does not make me a bummer or someone trying to shake her legs off and party all day.

Okay I do pray sincerely and hope that everything falls in place smoothly and almost perfectly.

Oh yes so damn happy! I'm finally back in SUNNY SINGAPORE for my winter vacation!!!!! SCREW WINTER!

Just like the picture above, I'm only back for a "cup of tea". Which means I'll only be staying for a short 3 weeks:( Ya I have to show this super uber sad face because it's so damn fucking short. Okay which also reminds me that school for the next semester will be starting real soon! Fuck it!

Anyway anyway ever since I'm back home, I've been having the best of every single thing.

Oh wow I lost touch with this space for quite some time, but I gotta say I miss blogging freaking lot.

Big sigh because school's a bitch for I've been in this place for 14hours and 7days a week. Never expect life in uni to be this bad, oh well at least it keeps in occupied till semester 1 ends and then I'll be back in Singapore for my winter vacation!
I miss the hot sun in Singapore even when everyone is complaining on facebook and twitter how humid and suffocating it can be. I swear experiencing cold at -0° is worst than sweating crazily in the comfortably warm sun!

The best news for now is that I'm confirmed flying back to Singapore for my winter vacation. Hell yeah! Can't wait for my final submission to come and end, then I'll be a step closer to home!

I'm back from my fruitful trip!! Finally gotten myself a few pieces of H&M tops, bottom and a bag! Nude is the new black, you can see everything paired with nude colour in the store. So loving it!

Y'know the amount of clothes we have can't stop piling in increasing numbers. So fucking annoying, ya how contradicting. I made the mess out myself and yet i'm here complaining how messy it is (LOL!).

Oh you'll probably ask me "hey then where's your cabinet?" Haha we use it to store old school/nerd looking clothes!!!!!

We always get to countdown and celebrate yao's birthday all together. The thought of that, I'll definitely be back in sg for x'mas and countdown with my beloved family and friends!

These couple of days I've been jotting down what I want to eat, do, see, buy and go before I fly. Not very short, nor it's long. But in a month's time, I'm gonna say goodbye to my love ones in sg. Damn getting emotional a little here and there whenever I think of it..

Lately, I've been thinking a lot on my own. I did not tell anyone how i was feeling except myself.
I keep talking to myself, all in the mind. Every single day(ever since 2 months back) I have mixed feelings inside out, I realised such a failure I am. Almost 21, but I've always messed things up with my own bare hands. To date still counting yes never ending, things(everything, anything) keep piling up from day 1 I know I'm Carin Ho.

Tell me daddy, what should I do next to keep everything and anything on track.

Can't believe we ate Fuji(some awesome and cheap jap restaurant) for lunch and dinner for the next 4 days. Believe it or not I'm still dreaming of the hot soba soup I eat there every day. It's really hard to find a bowl of hot soba in sg which taste so heavenly like what I had there.

I remember the first time I went bkk with the boys it was so fun, 3 toot boys and girl roaming around the foreign streets looking for thai food.

This time with my family, uncle and aunties. The experience of course is different but i love it too since we get to bond and get together. My uncle's really nice he treated us to a great buffet at Renaissance hotel plus this thai restaurant for authentic thai food! Y'know once you're in bkk, you can't stop eating and shopping eating and shopping. So usually by the time we're back at the hotel it's bedtime, K.O!

Well initially my sis and I wanted to do a bkk post on where to go, what to eat, what to take note of, how much is this and that(since I have more experience and can share). But it's the ending of the month and year, we've a queue of activities and work to do so. Really sardine pack month, so we thought perhaps we're gonna start on it like on one of the weekday when we're free. Barely 3 months and I'll be gone for a couple of years, it's nothing dramatic. But something that made me realised that how I'm deeply affected by the important people around me. I can foresee what will I become in the first few weeks there, probably crying in the little room or keeping myself away from the strangers. This time will also be my first independent trip out in a country I've never step foot on before, and also my first time ALONE in a foreign place. Really some mixed feelings ever since I got my confirmation result.

A story to tell for this picture.

I always always have certain expectations for my photos taken by anyone except strangers (Majority of the passerby(s) I requested to help take a photo always fail me by taking ugly or weird angle pictures. Ouch that hurts but I'm sorry). My bf knows this particular fact about me so after taking this shot for me, he said "Eh do you know it is damn stress to take a photo for you."
Yes, Poor boy (Mentally tortured by me myself).

Alright because few seconds after the shot, I commented "Eh why you leave so much space above my head? I prefer to have my head nearer to the frame of the picture and more of my body."

I hope he sees this because honestly, I know I shouldn't have said those words but it naturally came out of my mouth. Felt so sorry for the evil remarks I made to him without even thinking.

Picnic to replace the boy's birthday celebration alone with me, this year we wanted something different instead of those fine dining we had for the past years.

Talk about cooking, I suck badly at it! Still I initiated to wipe up a simple yet sumptuous meal for the lunch picnic(unlike the usual chips, potluck, sandwiches, finger food). Hmmmm Sambal baby french beans with scallops, Steam fish fillet with asparagus and button mushrooms, Fried tofu with minced meat gravy and not missing out the fragrant rice.

I think imma picnic person cause I love doing this under the hot sun with all the greenery surrounding us, makes picture perfect. Can't wait for the next session!

Bb's surprise celebration was a success cuz I know he was really caught by the surprise when we popped the party poppers in the dark! I know he was shocked to see us all there when the lights were turned on and "SURPRISE". Y'know when he was dumbfounded he's really shy and cute, haha. I hope it was a pleasant surprise for him, I had my little excitement and fun even before and after the party( busy with getting the party balloons, banner, poppers and gift).

Weekends fair the best of the whole week.

We would sip on the tea with a slice of fruit tart, fav magazines on the go, laughing and talking nonsense that don't usually link to anything. Yes Vivo has the best Japanese tart shop and I would love to hang out there every weekend and I'm serious..

For as long as the last 10 weeks, all I can remember was we have some sort of a food food food food and food spam/party every weekend at everywhere in sg. I'm loving it!

Usual Saturdays; from lunch to tea to dinner and to supper (ya that explains why I'm growing horizontally now). Fat isn't an issue to stop me from eating more now, honestly the food we ate and tasted every weekend is definitely a must eat! Maybe being fat will be a big issue for me if I gain like 5kg or more.. laughing!

Haven't been enjoying much in July and it's coming to an end soon. I spent the entire of this month getting the online store(new) done up. Love going to the annual national day rehearsal. What can I say? I enjoyed the breathtaking scenery (beautiful iconic buildings of Singapore) surrounding the Padang more than the show. The beautiful picture of where Singaporeans get together, sing their lungs out, y'know do the usual Kallang waves(okay but that's Padang so it's the Padang waves, whatsoever), take the pledge....

I miss this place so much that even now at this hour at 3:24AM I just thought of dropping by ,and well might as well pen down some words. I'm lying nicely on my bed now, trying to write some stuffs here.. But I can say my brain's almost half dead! *scribbling all my random thoughts.

3 long weeks since my bf got enlisted into army, and me slogging at work for my uncle's company (gotta admit it's pretty boring there and I can't wait for every single day to end whenever I stepped into the office).

I remember years back when the older girls were talking about their boyfriends serving the country and you'll hear these girls whining over the long period of time not being to see their boys. Then the guys will continue by saying things like "ah i know la you girls sure find other guys behind my back" Haha all the ridiculous things which are being said once and twice and over and over again...

Now, I finally get the feel of it. Everything i heard and see from friends to relatives to strangers.

The last few couple of days spent before he was enlisted into the army.

Those pretty sad moments together since he's going in for 2 weeks and thereafter he can only come out every weekends.

The last 7 hours before he gotta get up and head over to the camp; he came to pick me up for supper at serangoon gardens and then we travelled from Hougang to Katong searching for Ponggol Nasi Lemak but both stalls not open. And today he called saying "Eh my dad just told me I got a warning letter for speeding around Hougang Avenue 3!" Lol!

I must say SP's robe looks somewhat more unique than the other polytechnics. Gold collar with navy robe down. You know, make us look as though we are graduating in Hogwarts. In the pictures, you can hardly see my eyes man. Looks even smaller under the hot daring sunlight!

Graduation was so much fun with friends and family around you. Though I did not have enough of the photo takings (yeah there's still people i wanna take with but totally missed them out on that day. Urgh!) but it was much experience and fun having pictures snapped from many different cameras! And graduation feels as though i'm attending some wedding! It feels like your biggest day in your life! You see smiling and happy faces everywhere in the photos! (Y)!

It's weird seeing my hair in 2 tone colour, the dyed i did a year ago has turned to gold-orange.

Graduation

I've lost touch with this space here. Yes for the longest time ever even after i finished my studies in polytechnic. I've been bumming and lazing around for more than 2 months and not employed. Honestly feel very sorry for myself cause majority of my friends are working hard at work, earning some extra cash or even continue to pursue on the same field; the architectural route. But here i am, doing nothing in life. I think i should really laugh hard at myself. So tonight, i told myself in heart that I have to find a job, really have to babe!

Less than 3 weeks and i'm officially graduating from Singapore Polytechnic and with a certificate of Diploma in Architecture. What I'm pursuing next? We shall see...

Many of my friends totally forget about me unable to celebrate this year's Chinese New Year..
I have one asking.. "so Carin, how much ang pow money have you collected so far". Another, "hey, how's visiting these few days". Not ridiculous but hilarious.. Hahahahahahaha!
And till now I can't believe that my sis and I actually had our own sort of Chinese New Year dinner by ourselves at Burger King on the very first day of Chinese New Year. What we saw was a deserted cold and quiet town with almost no Chinese roaming around the streets...
If you ask me, I don't mind trying this out again.
